ISSUE #1 RELEASE

It's cold, snow falls from the stars.

From out of the storm, something in the shape of a blog post seems to take form.

Happy Winter all... ahem. It seems to have been a bit. I hope you all are well.

Back in June, I completely restarted work on Sucker-Punch Skeleton-Key for a lot of reasons. The art and story were completely redone over an extended period, making for a slow process. That being said, the results are clear: significantly improved art, pacing, characterization, and fish mobsters.

However, another result is clear: If I want anyone to read this, there can't be nine months between releases. Much of that time was situational, between the restart and first-issue hurdles like developing a style and text format, but it still didn't make for a fast process. As a result, future "issues" will be split in halves and released separately, making for shorter but much more frequent releases. For reference, Issue 1 numbers a little over 50 pages.

Speaking of Issue 1, there's no point punching around the bush. It is called "SHUT UP AND FIGHT ME," and will release this Sunday, December 28th, both here and on our Tumblr. I hope you like it. In accordance with this, the website has received a much needed revamp, particularly in the "READ" section. You can check out the new format right now!

It's still cold, snow still falls from the stars.

But something inside you shines with warmth. A feeling telling you to get up, raise your fists, and continue the fight.

Somewhere, on a remote island in the Pacific, this same feeling fills the air.
